I am excited to welcome Rori Snethen to the team at Dawn A. Humburg CPA, PLLC! 

Rori began her accounting journey at Iowa Central Community College in 2023. After graduating in 2024 with both an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting, she continued her education at the University of Northern Iowa, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in French.

Rori has completed three tax seasons, gaining experience both at a CPA firm in Waterloo, Iowa and through the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program here in Fort Dodge. Through those experiences, she discovered that tax is the area of accounting she enjoys most. 

​

When asked why she chose to join Dawn A. Humburg CPA, PLLC, Rori shared that after working in both a larger firm and in a setting with more direct client interaction, she found that she most enjoys building lasting relationships with clients, helping them year after year, and watching them grow and gain confidence in their financial decisions. 

​

"When the possibility of working for Dawn was brought up, I started to think about what I wanted. After working with another CPA firm where we didn’t meet and work with clients directly, I found I liked being able to meet with the people I was doing the work for and Dawn A. Humburg CPA, PLLC offers exactly that," Rori said. "Dawn works closely with each client to meet their unique business, accounting, and tax needs, and I'm excited for the opportunity to learn alongside her while helping provide the personalized service our clients deserve."

Outside of work, Rori enjoys crocheting, reading, playing musical instruments, biking, and climbing.
